Estimation & Procurement Manager

About the role

A leading organization in the infrastructure, steel and power industry is looking for an Estimation & Procurement Manager in Dubai. The role oversees project cost estimation and manages procurement for infrastructure, steel and power projects, ensuring efficient, cost-effective processes and accurate estimates.

Key responsibilities

• Estimation: prepare detailed project cost estimates, work with project managers and engineers on requirements, analyse blueprints and technical documents, and deliver accurate, competitive estimates for bids
• Procurement: develop procurement strategies, identify and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors and service providers, negotiate contracts and terms, and monitor market trends
• Supplier relationship management: build strong relationships, assess supplier performance regularly and resolve issues
• Cost management: monitor and control project costs and work with finance and accounting on budgeting and cost tracking
• Risk management: identify procurement risks and put in place mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on contracts and with project management, engineering and other teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
• Proven experience in estimation and procurement within the infrastructure, steel and power industry
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards
