Estimation Team Leader - MEP

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for an Estimation Team Leader for its MEP business in Dubai. The role leads and manages the estimating team, overseeing the preparation of all tender submissions and cost estimates so that bids across all MEP disciplines are competitive, accurate and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage estimation engineers across all MEP disciplines, allocating resources across concurrent tenders and managing workload prioritisation.
• Contribute to bid strategy, set the pricing approach and risk provisions for each tender, and review and approve all cost estimates and BOQs before submission.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE MEP market pricing, labour rates and supply chain trends, and brief the Commercial Director on pricing movements that could affect bid competitiveness.
• Develop and maintain estimating templates, rate databases and take-off tools, and implement best practices to improve estimation accuracy.
• Liaise with Engineering and Procurement to validate technical scope and pricing assumptions, and coordinate with Project Directors on win/loss reviews.
• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency, and encourage innovation to reduce costs without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10-12 years of MEP estimating experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE MEP market pricing and supply chain.
• Excellent analytical, management and communication skills.
