Estimator - Fitout (Quantity Surveyor)

About the role

Careers International is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a strong background in interior fit-out projects. The role covers cost estimation and quantity surveying for residential villas and commercial fit-out projects, and immediate joiners are given priority.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and budgets for interior fit-out projects by analysing drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings and site requirements, conduct material take-offs and site measurements, and evaluate and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices and claims.
• Request and analyse vendor and subcontractor quotations, prepare tender submissions with cost breakdowns, and assist in procurement and negotiation.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and designers, monitor budgets and timelines, and provide cost comparisons and value engineering solutions.
• Prepare interim valuations, final accounts and cost reports, maintain project documentation and report on cost variations and project profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in fit-out estimation and quantity surveying.
• Familiarity with villa and commercial fit-outs and with local UAE market rates, suppliers and fit-out processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills, plus strong verbal and written communication.
