Estimator – Roads and Asphalts

About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Estimator – Roads and Asphalts to support tendering and cost estimation activities for road and infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications and project scope.
- Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs and cost estimates for asphalt works, including production costs for bitumen, aggregates, fuel, manpower and equipment.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations and calculate plant production costs per ton/m².
- Estimate transportation, plant and machinery usage, prepare cost analysis, P&L projections and update rates based on market trends.
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, finance and QA/QC teams and maintain cost databases.
Required profile
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in asphalt estimation/road projects, preferably in the UAE.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of asphalt production and paving operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and analytical tools.
- Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs and technical specifications.
