Senior Structural Design Engineer

About the role

ATI is seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer to join its Sharjah office. The role involves leading structural design, analysis and calculations for complex projects, ensuring compliance with codes and seamless integration with other disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out structural design and engineering calculations for concrete, steel and other systems from concept through to tender and construction documentation.
• Coordinate closely with architectural, MEP and other project teams to resolve design interfaces.
• Prepare and organise structural drawings, specifications, calculations, reports and other technical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to the design team and review calculations, drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and authorities to resolve issues and obtain approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience delivering complex high‑profile projects in an international design consultancy.
• 5+ years of consultancy experience in the UAE and holder of a Sharjah Municipality Unlimited licence.

Required skills

• High competency in ETABS, SAFE, Prokon, Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of fundamental engineering principles, building component assemblies and relevant codes and standards.
