Event and AV Operations Analyst

About the role

The AV and Event Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting audio‑visual operations, live streaming, video production, and event delivery across Visa. This hands‑on, customer‑facing position requires technical versatility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work calmly in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV, conferencing, streaming, and production equipment for meetings, events, broadcasts, and hybrid experiences.
• Support live streaming and video production activities, ensuring smooth, reliable, high‑quality delivery.
• Conduct pre‑event technical checks, risk assessments, and equipment readiness reviews.
• Assist in developing event plans, timelines, checklists, run‑of‑show documentation, budgets, and post‑event reporting.
• Coordinate event logistics, including vendors, venues, equipment setup, transportation, room layouts, lighting, AV requirements, permits, and licenses.
• Provide on‑site technical and operational support, responding to stakeholder, presenter, vendor, and attendee needs professionally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Media Production, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in AV operations and event support.
• Hands‑on experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment such as cameras, microphones, lighting, projectors, and displays.
• Experience supporting video‑conferencing and live‑streaming platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Twitch).
• Understanding of media and streaming standards (H.264, H.265, AAC, Dolby Digital, RTMP, HLS, DASH, HD, Full HD, 4K).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities; ability to work calmly under pressure.
