Event Sales Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a professional, customer‑focused Event Sales Specialist to manage inbound and outbound calls, qualify leads and support our sales team. The role combines telephone communication, lead qualification and sales support to drive conversions while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Contact potential customers to follow up on leads, appointments and sales opportunities.
• Qualify leads, gather requirements and schedule appointments for the sales team.
• Present company products and services to prospective clients.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
• Monitor communication channels to ensure timely responses.
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly performance and sales targets.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Previous experience in telesales, customer service, call‑center operations or sales support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of calls.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM software.
