Executive - Exhibition Operations

About the role

The Executive – Exhibition Operations is responsible for managing and coordinating all operational aspects of exhibitions within the logistics cluster, ensuring efficient financial handling, customs compliance, and effective communication with government departments and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Check and verify accruals on income and costs before month‑end closing.
• Provide comprehensive monthly reports on financial and operational activities.
• Manage billing invoices and cost indications using the Cargo wise system.
• Follow up on collections and payments to ensure timely financial transactions.
• Book costs accurately and close files upon completion of tasks.
• Handle the customs claim process, including submitting claims for customs duty and deposits.
• Obtain special permissions from government departments as required.
• Send invoices to concerned parties via email and resolve any disputes.
• Assist operation staff and customer service teams in following up on import/export shipments for various exhibitions.
• Ensure all pending jobs are reserved and accrued for billing and booking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• English fluency required; Arabic preferred.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in logistics with a focus on exhibition operations.
• Proven track record in managing financial transactions and customs processes.
• Experience liaising with government departments and handling special permissions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of customs claim procedures and duty regulations.
• Financial reporting and billing management.
• Ability to prepare and analyse accruals and cost data.
