Executive Finance Operations (1‑year contract)

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical Executive – Finance Operations to join our fast‑paced retail finance team in Dubai. The role focuses on end‑to‑end finance operations, trade finance, supplier payments and reporting, supporting the business with accurate analysis and strong financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier payments, receivables, reconciliations and banking activities, including Letters of Credit (issuance, renewal, amendment, closure).
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and Power BI visualisations; analyse large data sets to identify trends and risks.
• Serve as primary contact for suppliers, banks, buyers and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of financial issues.
• Maintain robust financial controls, documentation and support internal/external audits.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, drive automation and prepare executive‑level presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; Master’s or MBA is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Finance Operations, Trade Finance, Accounts Payable or Supply Chain Finance, preferably in retail, fashion or FMCG.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, financial modelling).
• Power BI reporting and visualisation.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE or Microsoft Dynamics.
