Executive Sous Chef

About the role

Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Executive Sous Chef to support the leadership of its diverse culinary operations and help set the standard across all kitchens in a luxury hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in leading and managing all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and consistency.
• Drive innovation in menu development while maintaining Hyatt brand standards.
• Lead, mentor and develop culinary colleagues to achieve outstanding performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Manage costs, productivity and inventory controls to achieve business objectives.
• Work closely with restaurant, banqueting and events teams to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or senior culinary leader in a luxury hotel environment.
• Arabic language proficiency.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.
• Experience managing high-volume outlets, banquets and specialty dining concepts.
