About the role

Trychem is looking for a motivated External Account Manager to join its chemical raw materials sales team in Jafza, Dubai. You will drive revenue growth across paints, coatings, inks, adhesives and construction chemicals, acting as the technical bridge between customers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and annual revenue targets in the coatings and construction chemicals market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with manufacturers, end‑users and distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, suppliers and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide technical sales support, including product recommendations, formulation coordination and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to adapt sales approaches.
  • Collaborate with client R&D and supply‑chain teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and present market intelligence to senior management.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing and supply agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and QSHE standards.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
  • 3‑4 years of sales experience in chemical raw materials for paints, coatings, adhesives or construction chemicals, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the region.
  • Strong knowledge of resins, solvents, additives, pigments and related raw materials.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel within the UAE.
