EYFS & Primary Homeroom Teachers

About the role

Beaconhouse Private School in Al Ain is looking for enthusiastic, qualified and dedicated EYFS and Primary Homeroom Teachers to join its academic team from January 2027. Successful candidates will deliver engaging lessons, support student development and foster an inclusive learning environment. Applicants with British Curriculum teaching experience currently based in the UAE and available from January 2027 will receive preference.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for EYFS or Primary students
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and development
• Assess, monitor and document student progress to maintain high educational standards
• Apply effective teaching strategies aligned with curriculum requirements
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support students' academic and personal growth
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour
• Adapt teaching approaches to accommodate different learning needs and abilities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or a relevant subject, together with a recognised teaching qualification
• UAE Equivalency Certificate (mandatory)
• Relevant experience teaching EYFS or Primary students; British Curriculum experience preferred
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE and available to join in January 2027 will be prioritised

Required skills

• Strong understanding of EYFS or Primary teaching methodologies, curriculum standards, lesson planning and student assessment
• Excellent classroom management, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Ability to create engaging, inclusive and supportive classrooms
