Fabrication Manager

About the role

Archirodon is seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to lead all activities in its fabrication yard, covering structural steel, piping spools, skids and equipment supports for EPC projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all shop fabrication activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, welding procedures and ADNOC standards.
• Develop and implement fabrication schedules aligned with overall project timelines and monitor progress, taking corrective actions to meet targets.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, planning and construction teams to ensure smooth workflow and material traceability.
• Enforce strict HSE standards, oversee subcontractors and shop supervisors, and ensure all inspections and testing (NDT, dimensional checks) are completed before dispatch.
• Control fabrication costs, optimise manpower and resource allocation, and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering (or Diploma with extensive experience).
• 12–15 years of fabrication experience in Oil & Gas or EPC projects, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, AWS and ADNOC standards, and proven experience managing structural steel and piping fabrication works.
• Relevant HSE training and ADNOC project experience preferred; welding inspection certification (CSWIP/AWS) is an advantage.
