Facility Management Officer – Logistics

About the role

The Logistics Facility Management Officer is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance and safety of the Al Dar Estate Office and associated sites. The role combines vendor coordination, staff relocation support, preventive maintenance and compliance with health‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect fire extinguishers, safety signs and first‑aid kits; ensure emergency exits are clear and well‑lit.
• Check fire safety systems (alarms, sprinklers, panels) for proper function.
• Oversee HVAC, basic electrical, plumbing and water systems; verify CCTV and access‑control security systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of offices, restrooms and common areas; coordinate pest‑control measures.
• Coordinate staff relocations, update seat allocation plans and address employee requests promptly.
• Follow up with contractors on daily tasks, monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance for MEP and fire‑life‑safety systems, and review vendor performance.
• Raise purchase requisitions and LPOs in coordination with Finance and Procurement.
• Manage petty‑cash expenses with proper documentation and approvals.
• Supervise office assistants and cleaners, provide backup during staff leave and respond to all facilities‑management issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facilities or office management.
• Experience in vendor coordination and maintenance planning is preferred.
• Good knowledge of facilities and office‑management operations.
• Strong communication, coordination and multitasking abilities.
• Understanding of HSE standards.
• Problem‑solving and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with ERP/CAFM systems, preferably SAP.
