Factory & Production Manager – Joinery

About the role

The Factory Manager/Production Manager will lead the joinery and wood‑working operations at Royal Wood Factory. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering high‑quality wood products and fit‑out solutions for high‑profile projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop production plans and schedules that meet customer orders and project deadlines while optimizing resource use.
• Allocate manpower, machinery and equipment efficiently to maximise output.
• Implement and monitor quality‑control processes to ensure products meet established standards.
• Track production costs, identify savings and apply cost‑effective methods.
• Lead, train and motivate production teams, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
• Continuously improve processes, productivity and operational efficiency.
• Maintain health‑and‑safety compliance and enforce safety protocols.
• Oversee inventory of raw materials and finished goods to avoid shortages or excess.
• Generate production reports and performance metrics for management review.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing production or manufacturing operations, preferably in joinery or wood‑working.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑development skills.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends and implement improvements.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality excellence.
