Faculty – Business Project Management

About the role

The Higher Colleges of Technology seeks a full‑time faculty member to deliver Business Project Management courses to second‑language learners in Dubai. The role involves teaching, assessment, student advising, research, and participation in college and community activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum‑aligned courses using practical, applied approaches and educational technology.
• Assess student performance through tests, projects, assignments and provide continuous feedback.
• Advise and mentor students, including at‑risk support, internship supervision and regular office hours.
• Conduct applied research aligned with national innovation priorities and present findings at conferences.
• Participate in faculty, program, campus and system‑wide committees and sponsor student groups.
• Maintain teaching facilities, prepare electronic course assessment files and contribute to curriculum revision.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and support recruitment of UAE nationals.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, or a Master’s degree with professional certification and at least 5 years of combined teaching and industry experience.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
• Relevant industry experience (preferred) and experience developing accredited curricula.
• Ability to incorporate educational technology into instruction.
