Family Medicine Physician – Dubai

About the role

A reputable, JCI‑accredited multispecialty hospital in Dubai is expanding its primary‑care services and seeks a qualified Family Medicine Physician. The role is based in the outpatient department and offers the chance to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care within an integrated health‑system supported by advanced diagnostics and specialist referrals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary health‑care to patients of all ages, ensuring continuity and long‑term management.
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments, examinations and diagnostic evaluations for acute and chronic conditions.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular, respiratory, thyroid and metabolic disorders following evidence‑based guidelines.
• Deliver preventive services including health screenings, immunisations, lifestyle counselling and early disease detection.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor outcomes and ensure appropriate follow‑up.
• Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, nutrition and lifestyle modification.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and allied health professionals and track follow‑up care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and comply with regulatory and organisational standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and patient‑safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑specialist or board certification experience in Family Medicine.
• Recognised specialist qualification (e.g., American Board of Family Medicine, UK CCT/MRCGP, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FRACGP/FACRRM, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FNB/DrNB/DM/FCPS or equivalent).
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing in the UAE (support provided).
• Strong clinical knowledge in preventive medicine, chronic disease management and patient education.
