Family Medicine Physician

About the role

Marjan Medical Center, a healthcare provider in the Sherakat region of Al Ain, UAE, is hiring a Family Medicine Physician. The role provides comprehensive primary care to individuals and families of all ages, covering preventive care, acute and chronic disease management and patient education. It is a full-time, on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Coordinate care with other medical specialties as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow evidence-based clinical guidelines.
• Ensure high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
• Take part in community health initiatives and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical services.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in Family Medicine and Primary Care.
• Clinical proficiency in Medicine and Urgent Care, including diagnosis, treatment and management of a broad range of conditions.
• Experience and interest in Community Health, with a commitment to preventive care and population health.
• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution and a recognized Family Medicine residency or equivalent training.
• Valid professional license or eligibility for licensure to practice as a Family Medicine Physician in the UAE.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
