Family Medicine Specialist – Immediate Hire in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Family Medicine Specialist to join a JCI‑accredited healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive primary and preventive care to patients of all ages, managing both acute and chronic conditions, and building long‑term relationships with families.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations, physical examinations, and health assessments.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, dyslipidemia, thyroid disorders, respiratory infections, and gastrointestinal issues.
• Provide preventive services such as health screenings, vaccination counseling, and wellness advice.
• Monitor chronic disease patients through regular follow‑up and lifestyle counseling (nutrition, exercise, weight management, smoking cessation).
• Interpret laboratory results, ECGs, imaging reports, and other diagnostics.
• Identify cases needing specialist referral and coordinate care.
• Deliver basic urgent and minor emergency care within scope of practice.
• Address women’s health, men’s health, adolescent, and geriatric care needs.
• Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, CME activities, and on‑call duties.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine (MD, DNB, MRCGP, Arab Board, CCT or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years post‑specialization experience as a Family Medicine specialist.
• Strong background in primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient counseling abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
