Family Medicine Specialist – Primary Care Physician

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Family Medicine Specialist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The role involves delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered primary care to individuals and families across all age groups within a modern clinical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full assessments, diagnose, treat and follow‑up patients of all ages.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory illnesses and infections.
• Conduct routine health checks, preventive screenings and wellness consultations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide health education.
• Refer patients to specialists when needed and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with hospital policies and UAE regulations.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists and other professionals to ensure high‑quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives.

Required profile

• MD/MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Specialty qualification in Family Medicine recognized by the UAE health authority.
• Valid DOH/DHA/MOHAP license or eligibility.
• Post‑specialization clinical experience in Family Medicine/Primary Care.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage a diverse patient population independently.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
