F&B Attendant

About the role

The Food & Beverage Attendant will deliver warm, personalized service to guests at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, ensuring every dining experience reflects the hotel’s luxury standards. This onsite role involves interacting with guests, handling orders, and maintaining a clean, inviting service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to kitchen or bar staff.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests with menu selections, promotions, and product recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, ingredients, and beverage offerings.
• Keep tables, service areas, and outlets clean, organized, and properly set up.
• Perform table clearing, resetting, and side‑station preparation.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and feedback professionally.
• Support opening and closing procedures, as well as banquet and event operations when needed.
• Follow cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy of guest checks when assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food & beverage service, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively within a multicultural team.
