F&B Service Expert (Waitress)

About the role

Join Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa in Dubai, delivering memorable food and beverage experiences in a unique desert setting. As an F&B Service Expert (Waitress) you will create seamless service moments that enhance guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Set tables, communicate special dietary requests to the kitchen, and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of work and guest areas, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Handle cash and card transactions using the MICROS POS system, following strict cash‑handling policies.
• Prepare and present beverage/coffee carts, inspect china, glassware and silverware for cleanliness.
• Complete closing duties, including equipment cleaning, restocking, and securing the workstation.
• Support in‑room dining orders, logging calls and notifying guests of any delays.
• Collaborate with teammates and other departments to ensure smooth service coverage.

Required profile

• Higher education diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant F&B service experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Dependable, adaptable, safety‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
