F&B Supervisor - Mediterranean Restaurant

About the role

FIVE Hotels and Resorts is hiring a F&B Supervisor for its Mediterranean restaurant in Dubai. The role leads the service team, ensures high standards of food and beverage service and keeps day-to-day operations running smoothly. The advertised compensation is a fixed monthly salary of AED 2,400.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide waiters, waitresses and hosts/hostesses, and train new team members on service standards, menus and procedures
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns and complaints professionally, and welcome guests personally
• Keep the dining area, service stations and back-of-house clean and organised, and follow health and safety regulations
• Coordinate with the culinary team for timely, well-presented food and beverages
• Monitor inventory levels, control waste and promote upselling and suggestive selling
• Help organise promotional activities, special events and themed nights
• Train staff on service techniques, customer service and upselling strategies
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the hotel

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
• Proven supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience improving customer satisfaction and handling complaints tactfully

Required skills

• Knowledge of F&B operations, including five-star service standards, wines and cocktail preparation
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software
