Female Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist – Al Ain

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Female Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Al Ain. The role involves delivering comprehensive women’s health services, from routine care to complex surgical procedures, while maintaining a patient‑centred approach.

Key responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecological consultations for both outpatient and inpatient cases.
• Manage normal and high‑risk pregnancies, including antenatal care, labor, delivery, and postnatal follow‑up.
• Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders such as menstrual disorders, PCOS, infertility, fibroids, endometriosis, and menopause.
• Perform surgical procedures including cesarean sections, minimally invasive surgeries, and laparoscopic operations.
• Conduct routine women’s health screenings and preventive care.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, anesthetists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DOH regulations.
• Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and preventive measures.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, CME programs, and departmental meetings.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.
• Board Certification/Fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter.
• 5–7 years of post‑board consultant experience in a reputable hospital.
• Strong expertise in obstetrics, gynecology, and women’s health management.
• Excellent surgical, communication, and patient‑counseling abilities.
