Field Finance Manager

About the role

Moove AV, a company building the foundation of autonomous vehicle fleet management, is expanding globally and is looking for a Field Finance Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role supports the General Manager with financial infrastructure and strategic input, helping set up business operations and standard operating procedures in new markets, then acting as a key resource for the local GM and a main link to corporate finance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial ally to Regional General Managers, giving data-driven insights for market expansion and operational efficiency
• Create and manage regional financial statements, forecasts and budgets, and provide ad hoc reporting and performance analysis
• Bridge regional operations and central finance on corporate goals and reporting standards
• Lead the initial financial setup of new regional entities, including local financial processes and SOPs for financial management and reporting
• Manage AP and AR transactions and vendor onboarding during the startup phase, and oversee financial systems for data integrity
• Evaluate new market investments and fleet optimization, turn regional KPIs into financial projections, and spot cost-saving and revenue-growth opportunities
• Work with corporate finance on planning and forecasting

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related quantitative field; MBA or CFA a plus
• 5-8 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in field finance, regional management or operational finance
• Background in mobility, autonomous vehicles, rideshare, logistics or fleet operations is a plus
• Proven experience managing cross-border financial operations, multi-entity reporting and international expansion

Required skills

• Strong Excel and Google Sheets financial modeling, scenario planning and forecasting, including INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, XLOOKUP and Power Query
• Ability to build financial models from scratch
• GAAP and IFRS knowledge, accruals, depreciation and three-statement linkage
• BI tools and financial planning systems; VBA, Python or SQL for automation is a plus
• Operational metrics such as cost per mile and utilization, and financial storytelling
