Field Service Engineer – Onshore & Offshore

About the role

TechnipFMC is seeking a Field Service Engineer (SSE Engineer II) to lead engineering‑driven planning, execution, and technical coordination of onshore and offshore service activities. You will act as the key interface between engineering, field teams, assets, and customers to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering‑level technical support for complex field service operations, interpreting drawings, specifications, DBIs, ICPs, and procedures.
• Plan and coordinate staffing, equipment, and asset readiness; manage mobilization/demobilization and maintain service schedules, job documentation, and billing inputs.
• Serve as the primary liaison between field service technicians, engineering, and project teams during daily operations, pre‑job meetings, risk reviews, and post‑job debriefs.
• Ensure full compliance with TechnipFMC HSE, QHSES, and Duty of Care standards; participate in audits, NC close‑outs, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Engage with customers on technical matters, support visits and operational reviews, and identify upselling or aftermarket opportunities in coordination with sales and project managers.

Required profile

• Engineering background with strong technical judgement.
• Hands‑on field experience on offshore and onshore projects.
• Ability to coordinate projects, manage resources, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
