Field Specialist III – Completions

About the role

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Field Specialist III – Completions to lead preparation and execution of completion operations in both onshore and offshore environments. The role ensures safe installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of downhole and surface equipment while meeting customer, quality and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute completion projects from preparation through commissioning, supervising field installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate operations with customers, drilling and completion teams, and third‑party service providers.
• Prepare running tallies, tubing tallies, installation documentation and operational records.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics and root‑cause investigations on downhole and surface equipment.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality standards, customer specifications and operational procedures.
• Prepare operational reports, end‑of‑well reports, lessons learned and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in Completion Operations, Well Integrity or related Oil & Gas services.
• Experience working on both onshore and offshore projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, completion schematics and operational procedures.
• Strong communication, customer‑facing and project coordination skills.
