Finance Administrator

About the role

Birdie Advisory is a UAE‑based consultancy that provides finance administration services to UK clients. The Finance Administrator will manage day‑to‑day purchase and sales ledger activities, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and customer invoices are issued and reconciled on time. This role supports the delivery of agreed service levels across the client portfolio while working remotely during UK business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, verify details against system records, and resolve discrepancies.
• Raise purchase orders for approval and manage the purchase ledger efficiently.
• Issue customer invoices, address related queries promptly, and support the sales ledger.
• Maintain and set up customer and supplier accounts in compliance with data protection laws.
• Produce ledger and account reports as required by the team or client.
• Share responsibility for the accounts inbox, including issuing supplier remittances and escalating issues.

Required profile

• Experience processing purchase and sales ledgers and handling supplier/customer queries.
• Calm, collected, adaptable with strong attention to detail.
• Good IT skills and comfortable working as part of a service team supporting multiple clients.
• Demonstrates Birdie’s values: positive, proactive, dependable, adaptable and determined.
