About the role

A reputable pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its team in Dubai. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the Gulf region, supporting strategic decisions across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the Gulf region, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with regional leadership, commercial teams, and stakeholders to provide financial guidance for strategic decisions.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets, analyzing revenue, costs, margins, and profitability.
• Prepare and present timely financial reports, business performance reviews, and actionable insights to senior management.
• Identify and investigate financial variances, assess business drivers, and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience, including mandatory experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, management reporting, and variance analysis.
• Proven experience supporting commercial operations and financial performance across multiple Gulf markets.
• Experience partnering with senior management and cross‑functional teams to support strategic and commercial decisions.
