Finance Business Partner

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive, part of the Al-Futtaim Group, is looking for a Finance Business Partner in Dubai. The role gives analytical, commercial and informational support to the management team so that performance reviews, operational decisions and improvement plans can be made, helping the business meet its profitability and financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting: prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts within agreed timelines, and give management accurate, structured reporting and insight into financial metrics.
• MIS and management reporting: prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports and presentations, support performance reviews and variance analysis, coordinate GL reviews and accounting issues, and review and process incentives.
• Working capital and cash flow: advise the Finance Head on working capital planning, prepare monthly cash flow statements and forecasts, identify improvement areas and follow up on business actions.
• Commercial support: analyse pricing for deals, compare monthly sales against targets, support stock and receivables analysis, advise on capex and project evaluations, and review incentive models.
• Financial accounting: support the finance team in year-end audit and in improving understanding of accounting processes.
• Systems and processes: advise business units on system and process development, act as a SAP user and key project member in group reporting updates, and coordinate process changes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or equivalent post-graduate qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related fields.
• Strong accounting knowledge and the ability to manage a large, complex multi-branded business.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with effective communication and presentation of financial information.
• Proactive, able to work independently.
