Finance Director – Abu Dhabi (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead our financial reporting, controlling, and tax functions in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This senior leadership position will shape financial governance, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision‑making across a complex organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and consolidation, delivering accurate information in line with IFRS and local regulations.
• Oversee financial controls, governance frameworks, and reporting processes to enhance transparency.
• Manage external audit engagements and ensure successful audit completion.
• Provide strategic oversight of tax planning, compliance, and financial risk management.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
• Lead, develop and motivate finance teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent (preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, controls and tax management.
• Proven experience leading finance functions in large or complex organisations.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication abilities.
