Finance Director – International Oil & Gas

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to join our international Oil & Gas team. This senior leadership position will shape the financial strategy, oversee treasury activities, and ensure robust financial governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Manage treasury operations, cash‑flow, liquidity planning, banking relationships and international payment processes.
• Develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.
• Maintain strong internal controls, risk management frameworks and compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support executive decision‑making.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team while driving continuous process improvements.
• Partner with business leaders across multiple international jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of senior finance leadership experience.
• Mandatory experience in a trading environment.
• Proven expertise in treasury, cash management, banking operations and international payments.
• Experience managing finance across several countries and legal entities.
• Fluent in Russian and English.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent) highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
