Finance Director - New Tertiary Hospital, Dubai

About the role

A new premium multi-specialty tertiary hospital in Dubai Healthcare City, opening in September 2027, is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join its leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Director leads the hospital's finance function, covering financial operations, FP&A, budgeting and forecasting, governance, compliance, treasury, business performance and strategic financial planning. The hospital is built to JCI standards and offers teaching, research and fellowship opportunities alongside clinical practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall finance and accounting operations, reporting, controls, treasury and audit readiness.
• Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial modelling.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
• Monitor hospital and service-line performance, insurance networks, revenue trends, payer mix, physician productivity, cost drivers and profitability.
• Develop business cases and feasibility studies for new clinical services and expansion initiatives.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to drive financial performance and efficiency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Extensive healthcare finance experience within hospitals or healthcare groups is mandatory; candidates without it will not be considered.
• UAE healthcare and multi-specialty hospital experience is highly desirable; experience with healthcare expansion, new hospital projects or multi-entity groups is an advantage.
