Finance Manager – Agency Finance Operations

About the role

We are seeking a confident, hands‑on Finance Manager to join a leading social media and creative agency. This practical, day‑to‑day finance role focuses on accurate numbers, smooth processes and strong stakeholder support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day financial operations for a busy account portfolio.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting and reconciliations.
• Track spend, revenue, accruals and profitability, flagging risks and opportunities.
• Partner with account teams on estimates, purchase orders, invoicing and finance queries.
• Support month‑end close, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely and clearly explained.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure consistent process adherence.
• Collaborate with internal finance colleagues and senior stakeholders to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Approximately 8 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a creative, marketing, media or agency environment.
• Part‑qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong commercial judgement, excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear, collaborative communication style with the ability to explain finance to non‑finance colleagues.
• Proactive, hands‑on problem‑solving approach.
