Finance Manager – Client Incentive Operations

About the role

Visa is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Client Incentive Operations (CIO) team. The role focuses on managing complex incentive contracts, ensuring accurate accounting treatment, and delivering timely payouts that support Visa’s revenue strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret contractual obligations for complex incentive agreements and integrate calculations into the incentive computation system.
• Prepare, review, and approve incentive payments in line with contract terms and Visa’s accounting policies.
• Provide guidance on deal structures and act as the approver for incentive setup and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX controls, and internal reporting standards.
• Own performance metrics, drive process efficiencies through automation, and deliver regular reports.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Partners, Sales, Legal, and Client Contract Management to support stakeholders across the cluster.
• Lead process‑improvement projects and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of incentive contract accounting and US GAAP.
• Experience with SOX compliance and financial reporting.
• Ability to translate technical accounting concepts for non‑financial stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving automation and efficiency in finance processes.
