Finance Manager – FMCG

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to lead financial planning, commercial finance, and reporting for a fast‑paced FMCG business. The role blends strong financial governance with commercial agility to support growth across sales, marketing, supply chain and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑range financial planning; produce monthly MIS reports, dashboards and management presentations.
• Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain and operations to evaluate trade schemes, pricing, margins and promotional spend; provide financial modelling for decision‑making.
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close, general ledger accounting, reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage cash flow planning, liquidity, receivables, payables and inventory to optimise working capital and cash conversion cycle.
• Track inventory valuation, slow‑moving stock and product costing; drive cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to tax, GST/VAT and regulatory requirements; strengthen internal controls and support risk management.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance and accounts team; champion process improvements and automation.

Required profile

• CA, CMA or MBA in Finance (or equivalent qualification).
• 6–10+ years of finance experience, preferably in FMCG, consumer goods or distribution‑led environments.
• Proven experience handling high‑volume transactions and multi‑channel sales.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.
