Finance Manager

About the role

Quill Dubai is looking for a Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of its Dubai office. The role covers financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, financial planning and strategy, and leading the finance and accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations in line with UAE accounting standards and regulations, and prepare, review and present financial statements, reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Develop financial strategies supporting growth, cost optimisation and profitability, and monitor cash flow, working capital and financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, VAT regulations and financial reporting standards, and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants and regulators; oversee ZATCA and GCC cross-border compliance where applicable.
• Analyse financial data to advise senior management, and build financial controls, policies and risk management strategies.
• Support business expansion, mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and financial structuring.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, collaborate with other departments, and drive process improvements, automation and ERP enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent certification highly preferred.
• At least 8 years of finance and accounting experience, including 4 years in a managerial role in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT compliance and corporate tax laws.
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management and risk assessment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, with strong analytical, communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
