Finance Manager – Middle East

About the role

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead the Finance function for the Middle East region of a renowned luxury jewellery house. The Finance Manager will partner with regional leadership and European teams to ensure accurate accounting, robust reporting, and strategic financial support across newly created entities.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, coordinating with local and European teams.
• Prepare and review accruals, ensure IFRS and statutory compliance, and review financial statements.
• Produce regional reporting packages, supervise inter‑company reconciliations, and perform cost control and variance analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and business‑plan development for the new joint venture.
• Act as the main finance contact for JV partners, preparing Board and AGM materials.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, act as regional Compliance Officer, and manage audits.
• Coordinate tax filings, payments and liaise with external auditors.
• Support retail, HR, marketing and logistics functions, managing contracts and banking relationships.
• Manage logistics and operations teams to ensure efficient regional flows.
• Lead finance projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an accountant or controller in retail/luxury with progressive responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP modules, especially BI and Controlling.
• Background in integration projects, process mapping and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with business units and external partners.
