Finance Manager - Real Estate Development

About the role

Iman Developers, a boutique real estate development company based in Dubai, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager. The role oversees financial planning, reporting, regulatory compliance, treasury operations and financial controls across the company's real estate development activities, and leads a finance team while supporting strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and prepare budgets, forecasts and analytical reports for senior management
• Prepare accurate, timely financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Handle EOI forms, reservation forms, KYC documentation, AML procedures and reservation agreements; review property development contracts, especially payment terms with main contractors
• Supervise the finance team on payment issuance, receipts and follow-up on outstanding payments; coordinate internal and external audits and oversee VAT returns
• Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital, and oversee project escrow account inflows and outflows
• Lead, mentor and evaluate the finance team, set departmental goals and conduct performance reviews

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with ACCA, CA or an MBA; degree equivalency is mandatory
• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance experience in real estate development
• Demonstrated leadership in managing finance teams
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Strong understanding of financial principles, investment analysis and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels
