Finance Manager (Russian Speaker) – Dubai

About the role

A full-time, on-site Finance & Accounting Manager is needed in Dubai, covering a multi-entity portfolio. The role combines oversight of core transactional accounting and bookkeeping with strategic financial management, budgeting and cash flow control. The ideal candidate ensures 100% accuracy in daily records, primary documentation, bank reconciliations and tax compliance (VAT and Corporate Tax), while building unit-level P&L models, monitoring cash flow and coordinating with external auditors, banks and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• General ledger and record-keeping: oversee daily general ledger accounting, transaction coding and the chart of accounts for all group entities.
• Bank and account reconciliations: daily and monthly bank reconciliations across corporate accounts, matched against deal files, invoices and contracts.
• Accounts receivable and payable tracking, and monthly closing with accurate trial balances and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare financial files for annual external audits and handle UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filing and documentation.
• Build unit-level P&L reports, balance sheets and consolidated cash flow statements, and track profitability per business line.
• Prepare annual budgets, monthly budget versus actual analysis, and project-based financial models, feasibility reports and valuations for property acquisitions, disposals and new ventures.
• Cash flow forecasting, Wage Protection System (WPS) processing, salary transfers and visa/PRO fee tracking.
• Manage banking communications, merchant portal reconciliations and AML/KYC source-of-funds documentation.
• Supervise accounting staff by reviewing, assigning and verifying their daily bookkeeping entries and tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or CIMA) or active progression towards one is a strong plus.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounting experience in Dubai/UAE, with knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS payroll and local banking procedures.
• Proven background in multi-entity commercial operations.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, 1C and financial reporting tools.
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems is required.
• Solid double-entry bookkeeping, financial modeling, budgeting and management reporting.
