Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with UAE regulations, and effective cash management. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with IFRS standards.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, including VAT filing and FTA requirements.
• Perform bank reconciliations, manage cash‑flow activities, and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Process payroll according to UAE Labour Law and the Wage Protection System, handling salaries, overtime, deductions and end‑of‑service benefits.
• Conduct financial analysis, produce management reports and provide strategic recommendations.
• Manage foreign remittance transactions, currency exchange and related regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate financial records, enter data into accounting software and keep documentation up to date.

Required profile

• CPA or ACCA pathway preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and UAE tax regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Zoho, QuickBooks or SAP.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
