Finance Officer – Regulated Financial Services

About the role

The Finance Officer will lead the firm’s financial operations, ensuring full compliance with FSRA regulatory requirements. This senior position involves financial reporting, budgeting, capital adequacy, liquidity management, and oversight of private financing platform activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in line with IFRS and ADGM standards.
• Prepare and submit all FSRA‑mandated reports, including PRU returns, audited financial statements, and capital adequacy and liquidity reports.
• Coordinate statutory audits and ensure timely regulatory filings.
• Monitor ongoing compliance with FSRA Prudential Rules (BCR, EBCM, RCR) and track liquid assets, capital buffers, and expenses.
• Oversee client‑vs‑firm asset segregation for Private Financing Platform (PFP) and fund transactions.
• Develop the annual budget, perform variance analysis, and produce short‑ and long‑term financial forecasts.
• Establish internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and prevent fraud.
• Ensure compliance with ADGM commercial regulations, VAT, and UAE corporate tax, and support operational and risk audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 8 + years of finance/accounting experience within regulated financial services.
• In‑depth knowledge of FSRA rules (GEN, PRU, COBS) and ADGM regulatory environment.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA preferred.
