Finance Operations Assistant – AI-Driven Investment Firm

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Operations Assistant to join our AI‑focused investment firm in Dubai. You will own daily reconciliations and support core finance operations, ensuring cashflows, accounts, and records remain accurate and up‑to‑date while collaborating closely with the Founder and external accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular bank, card, and petty‑cash reconciliations across multiple accounts, entities, and currencies.
• Match transactions between bank statements, accounting records, internal trackers, and platform exports (Excel/Google Sheets).
• Maintain cash‑flow trackers, payment calendars, and simple dashboards.
• Support month‑end routines by preparing reconciliation files, identifying discrepancies, and chasing missing documentation.
• Track accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely recording and follow‑up.
• Organise and digitise financial documents in a searchable filing system.
• Prepare clear reports showing reconciled balances, outstanding items, and upcoming cash requirements.
• Liaise with external accountants/bookkeepers, providing reconciled data and supporting schedules.
• Assist with ad‑hoc financial analysis, data‑cleaning for investment and real‑estate projects, and internal tracker maintenance.
• Suggest and implement process improvements using AI and automation tools.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Comfortable working in a cloud‑first environment and using modern collaboration tools.
• Proactive attitude toward automating repetitive finance tasks.
