About the role
The school is seeking a Financial Accountant to oversee and manage all aspects of its financial accounting. The successful candidate will ensure accurate recording of transactions, support budgeting processes, and help optimise both revenue and expenses.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger by processing invoices, payments and purchases.
- Review and verify the accuracy of financial and contract documentation.
- Prepare financial records and statements for external reporting.
- Develop and manage forecasted budgets.
- Oversee tuition fee collection and ensure timely receipt.
- Analyse school expenses and recommend cost‑saving measures.
- Analyse school revenues and suggest strategies to maximise income.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in the education sector is an advantage.
