Financial Analyst (FP&A)

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support MAFL’s financial planning and performance management activities, handling budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and ad‑hoc analysis to enable informed business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the annual budgeting process, including assumptions and variance reviews with stakeholders.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts and rolling outlooks in partnership with business and finance stakeholders.
• Support development of the strategic plan, translating business priorities into financial projections, scenarios and performance targets.
• Analyze actual performance against budget, forecast, prior year and strategic‑plan targets, identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis, scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and business‑case evaluation.
• Maintain accurate planning and reporting data across SAP S/4HANA and HFM, including reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 2‑3 years of relevant FP&A experience.
• Hands‑on experience in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and ad‑hoc analysis.
• ACC​A or CFA certification preferred.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling, formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.
