Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will monitor Mindware's financial performance, analyse market conditions and produce forecasts to support senior management in both tactical and strategic decisions. This role involves preparing periodic reports and collaborating closely with the accounting and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyse financial statements, forecast revenues and expenditures, and build financial models for decision support.
• Identify trends, track business performance and provide optimisation recommendations based on financial plans.
• Perform variance studies, comparative performance analysis and develop forecast models accordingly.
• Generate periodic reports and ensure accurate financial reporting with accounting/finance teams.
• Develop and drive process and policy improvements to optimise workflows and financial growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably across UAE, Oman, Kenya and Qatar.
• Experience with VAT reporting, ICV certifications, AP approvals, and corporate tax filing.

Required skills

• VAT reporting – calculation and filing.

• Income/corporate tax preparation, including local filing and transfer pricing.
