Financial Audit Manager

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Audit Manager to lead risk‑based audit engagements across the organization’s financial functions. The role will oversee the full audit lifecycle, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and drive continuous improvement of audit methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive risk‑based audit plans covering financial reporting, treasury, tax, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and capital expenditures.
• Manage all phases of audit engagements from scoping, planning and fieldwork to reporting and remediation tracking.
• Prepare clear audit reports for senior leadership, highlighting risks, control gaps and actionable recommendations.
• Partner with process owners and business leaders to design remediation action plans and monitor implementation.
• Stay current on IFRS, regulatory requirements and emerging industry risks to keep audit approaches relevant.
• Lead the enhancement of internal audit tools and techniques, leveraging data analytics and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
• 6‑8 years of progressive experience in internal or external audit, with at least 2‑3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience auditing financial processes, internal controls over financial reporting and financial statements.
• Familiarity with risk‑based audit frameworks (COSO, IIA Standards) and data‑analytics‑driven audit approaches.
