Financial Controller – Global EdTech Company

About the role

The Financial Controller will act as a strategic finance partner to the CEO and Board, shaping the global financial strategy of a fast‑growing EdTech organization. Based in the UAE, the role combines oversight of multi‑currency transactions, budgeting, and financial reporting across international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop long‑range strategic plans, annual operating plans and growth scenarios.
• Lead financial strategy for SaaS, subscription, enterprise contracts and content licensing revenue models.
• Own company‑wide FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling and business performance reviews.
• Build unit‑economics visibility (CAC, LTV, churn, NRR, ARPU) and deliver data‑driven dashboards for executive decision‑making.
• Manage global accounting, consolidation, statutory compliance and timely month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closes.
• Ensure strong internal controls, audit rigor and adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards.

Required profile

• Highly analytical, strategically‑oriented finance leader with deep experience in complex, multi‑country operations.
• Proven ability to build scalable financial infrastructure and drive profitability.
• Strong governance mindset and experience preparing organizations for investor scrutiny.
