Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to lead day‑to‑day accounting and financial control for a fast‑growing technology group operating in the UAE, the United States and regional affiliates. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own a broad finance function across multiple legal entities while working closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full month‑end and year‑end closing process for all entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Prepare accurate management accounts – profit & loss, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements – and produce variance analysis and ad‑hoc reports for the leadership team.
• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts and ensure all reporting complies with IFRS and audit requirements.
• Oversee multi‑entity and inter‑company accounting for UAE and US subsidiaries, record and reconcile inter‑company balances, allocate costs and prepare elimination entries for consolidated reporting.
• Act as the primary internal liaison for external tax advisers and coordinate UAE corporate tax and regulatory compliance matters.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in accounting, finance or financial control, including experience in the UAE.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with a focus on accuracy, detail and proactive ownership.
• Ability to work independently, maintain organized records and deliver reliable financial information without constant supervision.
