Financial Controller – UAE & Africa Region

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead financial operations across the UAE and Africa region. The role will drive financial planning, consolidation, risk management and ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations while supporting strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.
• Consolidate financial statements for multiple entities and present reports to senior management.
• Monitor financial risks, currency exposure, tax regulations and ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT and corporate governance.
• Manage liquidity, cash‑flow forecasting, working capital and treasury operations.
• Partner with regional leadership and commercial teams to provide decision‑support and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Liaise with auditors, banks and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of experience in trading, processing, FMCG or manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in financial consolidation and IFRS reporting.
• Regional experience in the UAE and Africa.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar).
• Strong knowledge of taxation, compliance and cross‑border financial operations.
• Fluency in English.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or MBA (Finance) are preferred.
